Float participants are not permitted to throw any items from floats. Vehicles must have the relevant licensing, insurance, and tax for use on a public road. Drivers must hold a valid and current driving licence. Motorised floats must have a fully serviced fire extinguisher available. The ultimate responsibility for safety lies with each Parade Entrant. Entries must comply with all of the regulations and must comply with any relevant legislation, safety codes, and manufacturer’s recommendations. Participants must comply with instructions from the Gardai, Parade Safety Managers, or Stewards. Participants who fail to comply with any instruction will not be permitted to participate in future parades.

Photography / Filming Consent

Lucan St. Patrick’s Day Committee would like to photograph/film you, so that we can use your photo/footage in promotional material. The purpose of this promotional material is to provide information about our committee and to promote the Lucan Parade. Please be aware that by entering the parade and participating in the parade on St. Patrick’s Day your photograph and/or digital recording will be used, without compensation, in all media and you release Lucan St. Patrick’s Day Committee from liability whatsoever of any nature.
